Planning: Principle Photography - Location Scouting and Costume (Behind the scenes)

This is a collage of photos showing me and my partner Kenza taking photos of ideas for shots and locations. After spending 2 hours walking around suggested locations in Brigg, we came up with 114 photos.
We considered charity shops to represent their services to disaster ridden countries. This was felt to represent the song narrative - the idea of helping others. Where Connor looks in the window, there is a caption "Help in a crisis" - this is exactly the kind of signifier we need in our video.

The rural park location could be a good location as it implies a peaceful environment. we felt it represented how young people can seek isolated places to sit and think.  The canted angle shot enabled us to think about how we could signify loss; this place was built up and now it has all been broken up.  Furthermore, we have organised another shooting day when we will venture further out, maybe to Scunthorpe or other rural villages, taking photos of more ideas for locations.
